What is the affiliate links?

Affiliate Link:

An affiliate link is a specific URL that contains the affiliate's ID or username. In affiliate programs, advertisers use affiliate links to record the traffic that is sent to the advertiser's website. This action is all part of an affiliate program. Affiliate agreements commonly state that the affiliate is responsible for arranging its own affiliate link and making sure that it connects to the advertiser's website.

When affiliates sign up at the provider's website, they are provided with a specific link to that website. When visitors to the affiliate's site click on the advertisements and go to the advertiser's site, the affiliate may receive a commission if that click leads to a sale.

For each order placed you can track an affiliate ID and sub-affiliate ID. The first thing you need to do is configure the affiliate and sub-affiliate keywords so you can use them to create affiliate links.

Creating an affiliate link:

Creating an affiliate link is simple. Assume that the URL of the landing page for the affiliate link is http://yourdomain.com/landing/ and assume that the affiliate ID is demoaffiliate and the sub-affiliate ID is banner1. We would construct the affiliate link as follows:

The default affiliate keyword is affid and the default sub-affiliate keyword is sid.
